Ever stayed here?

Hi,
Has any Dis'ers ever stayed at Disney's Vero Beach Resort?
I have stayed there twice and I am wondering what others think of the resort.

Never stayed there, but will say that you might get a bigger response to this question if asked in the DVC section of these boards, since Vero Beach is a DVC property.

We have stayed there twice and loved it both times. It is a beach vacation with a little Disney thrown in. The rooms are nice in the main building. We have never stayed in the villas section. I think they did a great job with the place but it is a bit off the beaten path from downtown Vero. I think alot of people think it is gonna be like WDW hotels. I would say it is quiet, secluded and relaxing. Just the opposite of the world. LOL.

use to own there but didn't like it.

at WDW you feel safe. Some of the area near VB I just didn't feel that safe.

also like my beaches white and soft.

the beach sand at vb is brown and is some places you need to wear shoes...



so I prefer the gulf panhandle beaches - so got a timeshare in that area and sold my VB several years ago.

We had our first visit in July and LOVED IT!! The children loved the Snorkel ears lessons and the wave runners. We can wait to go back in November! We felt very safe in the resort.

We visited in Aug'04 -- our first use of of DVC as new owners. Enjoyed the resort and kayaking at Sebastian Inlet.

We did our first stay at VB in May of this year. We really enjoyed it, and we are planning to go back next year. The hotel is fairly isolated from shopping and restaurants, but the beach was very private which was great. If you like non-crowded Atlantic beaches, you should like VB.

We were there in March and loved it. It was very relaxing, but not that much going on. We will go back.

We've stayed there several times in advance of a WDW visit.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and service.
