Has anyone ever stayed at either of these 2 hotels?

How are they as far as.... cleaniness, safety, appearance, general area around hotel, is it new/old, will it be ok for a nice family stay... etc. ( basically... is it a dump that I should avoid?)

I booked each for a driving trip from NY and back... never been there, chose them soley on thier location ( right off I-95)

Anyone have pictures of either??

The Sheraton and the Radisson in Fayetteville are both fine for Interstate stop-over type hotels. Both are clean and convienient to the interstate. There are definatly parts of Fayetteville you DO NOT want to be in however, so stick with those two I mentioned.

Whatever you do, stay away from the Ramada Inn in Fayetteville. I stayed there once overnight, and will never stay at a Ramada again -- anywhere, anyplace, anytime! This place was a DUMP in a dangerous area. Many people seemed to be living at the hotel. The checkin people seemed to be behind some type of thick glass (likely bulletproof).

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Santee. It was brand new when we stayed there, can't recall exact date, but probably within past 4 years. The facilities & service were as we expected from a Hampton Inn. We'd stay there again.
