Ever stay on Marco Island?

I'm thinking of using RCI and traveling xmas 2009 break. Has anyone ever stayed on any of the Marco Island properties like Eagles Nest? I stayed at the Marriott once and thought it was real nice. Any thoughts?

Any help is appreciated.

Marco Island is lovely. Great beach and sunsets over the ocean. Unfortunately, a Christmas or New Year's week exchange into southwest Florida is a tough trade, and nearly impossible at less than a year away. Sorry.

We've visited Marco Island a few times, but like you, we've stayed at the Marriott. We found one restaurant that we really like, Snook Inn and we just couldn't bring ourselves to try another one.

It's such a lovely place, we dreamed of moving there after retirement, but retirement hasn't happened.

Marco is nice.
Not a ton to do but golf, tennis and beach are good.

Almost forgot fishing in the Gulf.

This upcoming visit will be our third trip to Marco. We stayed in Marco Beach Ocean Resort first, Club Regency last summer and MBOR again this summer. We'd love to buy into Charter Club into the second building. Eagles Nest looks nice (right next to MBOR) but I'd want the villas and not the tower. Club Regency was very nice, small and compact.

This family loves Marco Beach.
