Ever snuck into the hotel pools when you aren't staying there?

Hi,

Haha me and my boyfriend are visiting Universal Orlando this coming May. We are staying at a low budget hotel without a pool and I looked at the Universal resort map and it seemed like it'd be very possible to sneak into the Hard Rock Hotel pool or the Portofino Bay Hotel pool. Haha, has anyone ever done this before? I don't want to do it if it's extremely frowned upon or if it's easy to get caught but if it's no big deal and other people do it why not!

You can go around and visit or eat at the resorts, but what you are going to do if frowned upon. You will need to show a room key in order to get towel also. There is plenty of staff walking around also.

People do try it, have seen many escorted out of the hotel by security, quite embarrassing for them.
If you bring your own towels you stick out like a sore thumb[saying here] and like Bluer says there is plenty of staff and plain clothes security, who watch for people, seems they are quite good at finding them.

As someone who is willing to pay the price to stay in these resorts, personally, I would frown upon it. I already have to share that pool with people from the resorts, so, having others "sneaking" into the hotel pool because they chose to stay in a budget hotel without a pool seems, well, rude.

This is not a favorable practice and we don't encourage cheating the system.
