Ever slip someone your phone number in a cocktail napkin? I did once, and I'm sad to report that nothing came out of it. :sad1: Which is sad, because I thought she was cute. Oh well, she missed out. Anyone else? Let's share some stories.

I left my number on the ticket for a cute waiter once, during girls night. We were pretty drunk and he was pretty flirty. He didn't call. :confused3 (I'm sure I wouldn't call either if someone did that to me.) :rotfl:

Marcie - you bad girl!!! You crack me up.

I never had the guts to do it, but there was some times I wanted to!

I did. I remember 2 times. Once it worked out well and the other time no call.

He didn't even send you a text??:confused3 :lmao:

LOL been married awhile, but in my dating days, yes I did and had it done to me. I usually called if I thought the guy was hot lol, and the guy i did it to.. we had been eyeing each other for hours across the bar, but it was soo crowded and I had a gaggle of girlfriends with me, we couldnt get to each other to talk so he sent me over a drink and I sent him back my #.. he called me right then and there lol.

When I was working in a bar, a guy wrote me a really long love letter. He'd asked me out a few times already and every time I told him I had a boyfriend, but obviously he just didn't get it. Eventually he wrote me the letter asking me to call him. I didn't call and he never came to the bar again.

I left my number on a napkin in a friend of a friend's fleece vest that I had borrowed while at a Giants game. A move noted as "bal***" by my friends. He called and told me he was going to ask our mutual friend for my phone number and thanked me helping him skip that step. We dated for a while.

I left my number on a dollar bill for the bartender at a bar my friend and I frequented. I told him not to spend it it had my number on it. Well, soon I began getting X-rated phone calls at 4 am:eek:
I learned my lesson!!

No, but I made sure to put my number on the accident report for the trooper when I was in an accident one time, and told him to use it. ;)

He did, and we went out a few times. He was really cute.

About 24 years ago, I went to a singles dance with a good friend of mine. While there, I saw a guy that I used to go to church with but we had not seen one another in a few years. We talked for a while and at the end of the evening, he wrote his phone # on a napkin and gave it to me asking that I call him. Well, I didn't. I threw the napkin away the next morning as I was not in the habit of calling guys (goes back to a growing up in the 50s thing). He called me 3 days later and this year we will be celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary!

Hi there Jan :wave2: ...

That is such a nice story :lovestruc I had no idea...

Hope to meet again onboard.:goodvibes

No. But when I was pestered for my number I would occasionally give someone the number to Time & Temp. :)

Once...I was drunk...Found out the hard way what "beer goggles" meant. Cause the gal that called was NOT the same I flirted with! I SWEAR!!!! :drinking:

First of all just coming out of a relationship I hadnt expected this guy to call me back. I actually put my number in his phone. He texted me the next day. we talked for 1 day and one day only. Then out of the blue 3 weeks later on Christmas eve while I was @ Disneyland, i get this cute little text...I hope you have a very Disney Christmas.
Well for the entire week I was at DL we were texting like crazy.
I have never met anyone quite like him. After actually talking and stuff we have so much in common. ( I think I had him at my love of football) but it is going on 3 weeks of talking and texting and getting to know each other and being totally freaked out by our items in common.
1. both just getting out of long term relationships
2. both dislike fights
3. we both have the exact same birthday and were born at the exact same time just he was born 9 years before me.
among other things. But strange things happen.
So we are having our first date on Sunday  :cool1:
I still cant get over his text from last night.
Where were you 20 years ago??
I laughed so hard and my reply was well umm I was in 4th grade and 9 years old. That was so wrong on so many levels.
I am still getting a laugh at that text!! So are my friends.
But I guess we'll see how things go on sunday after our date.
I am hoping for the best.

This one guy slipped me his number on Mothers Against Drunk Drivers notepad. I tore off the other half and gave him mine. I did not call him.

He called me about 5 days later. We've been married 12 years.
