Ever saw cut scenes from a movie that would have vastly improved it?

Disagreed, and even the theatrical version of Alien 3 is more watchable than Afleck's Daredevil.

Well, yeah, almost anytihg is more watchable than Daredevil, but that's not the bar to which I measure movies. Aline 3 did have soem good stuff going for it, but it's initial misstep of killing hicks & Newt right off the bat is unearned and not overcome by the films many later missteps. It was a franchise destroyer.

A Knight's Tale. There was a brief scene where they explained about what later becomes their house sigil basically so on the shields etc. It's not that important to the movie really but it was such a short scene and would have filled in a bit of a gap in understanding so it seemed strange to me to cut it.

Not vastly improved it but cleared up something:

There's a scene in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that is shown on tv where Harry goes outside during the ball and overhears a portion of a conversation with Igor and Snape. The scene explains Hermione's comment of "where have you been, nevermind off to bed.." you know that comment. It always irked me watching on tv because the comment doesn't make sense unless you have that deleted scene in there since there's no indication Harry left.

I'm sure there are others in the HP series but that one always stuck out at me
