Last summer I ran into my neighbors at downtown Disney. I like to think of it as it's a small world after all.Surprising enough they were staying at the same resort. :D

Yes - ran into the neighbors, three houses down, at Rock and Roller Coater in '01. Also, ran into a someone we knew from our town (same LL team) at SM in '98. It happens.

Every time we go to WDW we see somebody we know. It's such a strange feeling to hear someone call your name when you are 1200 miles from home.

We've run into people a few times on trips to WDW :p

My DH always sees someone he knows. Last time it was on the friendship boats. The kids think it is sooo funny.:D

My dh too!! No matter where we go, there is someone he knows. I'm beginning to think he has a secret life!! We saw people from home while waiting for Spectro the last time!!

I will on our upcoming trip...we are taking them with us, LOL!

While eating at the Kona Cafe last July our waiter looked like he was right from the islands, typical for CMs at the Poly. After some conversation he asked where we were from. We told him and come to find out he is from 2 towns over from us, LOL!

About 5 years ago while getting up to exit Indiana Jones I ran into a x-employee from work. Had no contact in 7-8 years. Two years later waiting with GF to enter IJ we were talking about meeting people and as I am telling her the story here comes the same guy and his family. She never did believe that things just happen it must have been a setup. Strangest thing is I am normally totally oblivious to other people but now look closely anywhere near that area of MGM.

Saw my daughter's dance instructor TWICE on same trip in two different parks -- it was ODD....

We ran into some family friends at EPCOT last year...
but the weirdest one was seeing my daughters 7th grade teacher with his kids swimming at the CBR....
him and my daughter caught up....although she said it was weird to see her ex-teacher.... she laughed about it...

Have never seen neighbors. However, on a trip many years ago, I saw a pastor from our town. Sadly, he had terminal cancer, and his church had sent him and his family for some wonderful memories. A few years later, I learned at my wedding that a very good friend would be at Disney when my husb and I were there for our honeymoon. We hooked up a few times and had lots of fun. Also saw an old college friend at the Carousel in the MK. Had not seen her in 17-18 yrs! That was really fun!!

Last time I went 2 of my neighbors were there the same time, but I didn't see them. I was looking every day, but it never happened.

Before getting married and moving to Florida, shortly after H.S. graduation, I had come down to WDW from N.J. and ran into a friend from school on line for Big Thunder Mtn. railroad. I kept thinking what are the chances of running into anyone I know this far from home? LOL

Then just 3 yrs ago after moving to FL, brought my family down to WDW for a week stay with us at OKW and we were at the Beirgarten in Germany at Epcot and ran into one of my parents neighbors - my dad noticed a shirt he was wearing with the town Logo on it, realized who it was and went over to say hello with the same reaction I'd had yrs ago running into my friend from school - what are the chances?

Apparently, chances are pretty good! LOL
So running into people at WDW does happen occassionally - it really is a small world after all;)

Our last trip there, we knew that 2 other families were going to be there. We never expected to run into anyone, but we did run into one family in Dinoland.

Small world!

We ran into a neighbor at Animal Kingdom. They are Disney Freaks as much as I am and I knew they would be down there at the same time. We got off the bus and started walking to the front and ran into them as they were getting off their bus.

Its sure is a Small World.....I would have never thought we would see them with all the different parks they have.

We were just at WDW 6/22-26 and my sone ran into one of his friends while waiting for RnRRC. Small world.
Connears

Two years ago we were in line for the bus to BWV from AK and ran into a women DH and I had worked with. Hadn't seen her in years.

Last March we just pulled up to BVW and immediately ran into a neighbor family that we knew were staying at BWI. We were tying to make plans later that trip to meet at MGM, but his cell phone didn't work. Wouldn't you know as we walked up to RNRR there they were!

Same trip, we're leaving TT at Epcot and I saw a man who looked like one of our neighbors, sure enough it was him. He told us his wife and kids were in Mexico waiting to eat at San Angelo's which is where we were headed to eat! He still talks about it when I see him.

In December 2002, we were leaving Chef Mickey's Breakfast and as we were walking passed a gift shop, someone shouted "Hey Rich!!" We turned around and it was my husband's former Fire Chief and his wife. We chatted for a few minutes and left. We never mentioned where we were going and we ran into them a few hours later at Epcot.

In June of 1996, we were walking passed It's a Small World (I SWEAR!!) and my husband noticed a man wearing a Chicago Bulls Shirt. When he pointed him out to me, my mother and I both noticed it was MY former supervisor's husband! Just a few feet away from him were his wife and 3 kids. It was a very surreal moment. She had moved to Florida from Chicago and I hadn't spoken with her in over a year!!

Several years ago we were on the boat going from MK back to WL, and DH saw a guy who looked familiar - a friend he hadn't seen since they graduated from high school in '67!! We had a nice conversation, and guess where their room was? Yep, right next door to ours! Unfortunately they were checking out the next day. After they left, a nice bottle of wine was delivered to our room with their wishes to enjoy the rest of our stay!
It's a small world after all!

I ran into our neighbors Fern and Marty at the Carribean food court. They were soaking wet just coming in from the pool (LOL). Needless to say they were surprised!!
