Like Hugh Hefner? I have a friend right now who is dating two girls at the same time. They both know about each other because they're best friends and roomates. He takes them out on dates together and they both stay at his house. He took them home to meet his parents last week and his mom went through the roof while he dad slapped his son on the back and said "thats my boy". Now his mom isn't talking to him until he dates one girl only and some of his friends don't think it's right either. As for me, he's still my friend and if thats what he wants to do so be it, it's not hurting me. I for one can't even handle one woman so if I was dating two I'd probably slit my wrists. Ever met anyone in relationships like that?

No, actually, I can't say that I have. I think that's pretty rare, especially considering the fact that they both know each other.

When I have a boyfirend, if I ever found out he had another girlfriend I doubt we'd get along so smoothly.

I was dating 2 guys at once in High School. This was only for a month or so. Frankly, it was just too much time! Between school, friends, work, family, and then 2 guys- . So, I picked one and we dated for 3 years. :p

Oh, they didn't know about each other either. They went to different HS's. ;) :teeth:

Sounds as if your friend has a problem with commitment.........and his Dad isn't helping matters.........

I don't think he has a problem, he's got everything he wants. The girls sound happy with the situation too.

I can't see doing anything like that, but it's in the open, no one is lying to the other. It's more honest than a lot of people.

I see nothing wrong with it, as long as everyone is accepting and open about it.

And :thewave: to your buddy

That sounds more like a threesome to me. LOL

Yeah, I'm with dcgrumpy. That sounds like something a little more kinky that a guy with two girlfriends. :p

I personally would not be interested in sharing my man, but whatever floats your boat!

I was casually dating 2 different guys when I met my DH, after my first date with him I told the other guys I couldn't see them anymore. I knew DH was the one for me and I didn't want to be with anyone else, that was 12 years ago, we've been married for almost 9. :lovestruc

I think what makes this one so different is that he dates them at the same time. I've juggled dating 2 or 3 women before and they didn't know about each other. But these to know about each other and they only go out with him together, he never dates either one of them by himself, hence why everyone now calls him Hef. :teeth:

I had 3 dates in one day once.

never at the same time though

I wonder what the appeal is.

I did this once as well... I think more than once with the same two guys too... anyway.... both went to HS with me at one time. One was a year older than me and was at a local college when I was also dating the other guy. They were friends, knew about the arrangement and both were fine with it. I did eventually call it quits with one guy and dated the other exclusively for a while. When that one ended, I did go back and date the other guy off and on for a while. So I guess I don't think it is that odd myself. Not every relationship I was in was exclusive or serious :)

Something tells me they don't date him exclusively.;) There are probably more "Hefs" in their lives.:p

I agree. ::yes:: ::yes::

I've dated more than one person at a time but I wouldn't have called any of them my boyfriend. They were men I was dating...after all, isn't that the point of dating? Finding out if you like someone enough to make them your boyfriend or girlfriend?

As for this situation...never done it. I have too much respect for myself to allow it to happen.

My college roomate was once dating *17* guys at once, two of them seriously. Three of them were named Mike. She was never there (of course she was always out with one of the 17) so I was like her secretary taking phone messages from the others, and when one of the Mikes would call I hated to ask, "which one" as none of them knew about the others. She sometimes had 3 dates in one day: a lunch date, an afternoon study date, and a dinner date. She would come back to the dorm and shower and change clothes between them so the next guy didn't smell the previous guy's cologne.

She eventually was engaged three different times, and when she was engaged, she didn't date anyone else besides her fiance. She married the third one and they've been happy together for 14 years and have 8 kids! (she was an only child and always said she wanted a big family - they are actually hoping to have two more!)

YUP

What does he do? Kiss each one goodnight at their door while the other waits in the car... actually come to think of it, I doubt he even drops them off at their own house..... ;)
