Ever just wing it - without PS?

We never make reservations. We never know beforehand where we will be and how can you tell weeks before how hungry you will be. It's more fun not to plan too much but play it by ear and do what you want when you want to do it.

Uncleromulus is of the "PS making" persuasion--it does get us excited about our upcoming trip and these days, our visits to WDW do revolve around our meals.
Lots of people report great success with no PS-especially if only a short wait won't be a problem. But I should add that I've personally seen would-be non-PS diners turned away completely from California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhhouse and the Flying Fish--and they were VERY unhappy campers!! I should add that this was usually a Friday/Saturday nite at prime dinner time.

Good point uncleromulus!
firstmickey if it is any of the finer restaurants you are interested in eating at, you may want to make a PS or 2. You can always cancel them if you choose not to go. I'm not sure what the cancelation policy is so check that out before hand.

Either way I'm sure you'll be fine.

Have done it both ways and am much more comfortable just winging it! We are of the mind set that if it was meant for us to eat somewhere, we'll get in.....if not, we'll go somewhere else. I would make a PS for a special occasion or if there is a special restaurant that you just have to go to. Other than that, we just go with the flow as it just makes it easier not having to be on a schedule to eat while we are enjoying WDW.
