We can not get an ADR earlier than 8:30 PM.
A bit late for us.

Can we try showing up at 7 PM and see if we can get in ?

Do people make ADR's and then just not show up because they will not loose any deposit like Cindy's ?

We are staying at the WL and can not believe the restaurant in our resort is so popular.

Sure, you can try...first keep calling WDW Dining every day, even after you get there. If that doesn't work, try walking up.

But be prepared for rejection...you are going at a VERY busy time.

7pm really is a tough time to do a walk up.

Do not be suprised if you are turned away or given a wait time of over an hour which is close to the ADR that is available.

I would grab the ADR and then keep trying to call back. You could always show up a little early and see what happens.

I would grab the adr time because you just never know what will happen. Some times if you arrive early they will seat you because you have an adr. If you want to eat at 7pm maybe you can walk up at around 6 so even if you have to wait you will be eatting at the time you want.

A friend & I walked up in January. It was after MK closed at 8pm and in a very slow time of year. And we still had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. It's just a very popular place, it seems. That was my first time at WCC & to visit the WL. I was so impressed with it that my family will be staying there in October.
