Ever have someone come out to check for mold???

DH thinks I'm crazy. I'm also scared this could turn into nothing or a huge financal issue. Ever since Hurrican Irene almost 2 months ago, I smell a musty smell coming from behind my cabinets. They are not wet...never were. I'm afraid it's the wall behind them. That wall also backs up to pipes from laundry area/bathroom shower area.

Who should I call??? Scared to trust anyone these days. Don't want to get taken advantage of!!! TIA!

There is a test that you can have done that checks the air quality (for mold) in your home. After our house fire, our P.A. called the health department and then called an environmental company out to test the air in our home to find out if our insurance company had to cover the mold problem we had. Maybe you can call your health department to see if the can steer you in the right direction for your area.
