Ever have CM's take the Magic out of it?

When I was working there, the biggest things that ruined the magic daily were seeing the CM's smoking everywhere backstage and how snotty some of the princesses were when they were off duty. :rolleyes2

lol yep. All the princes and princesses sitting together in the cafeteria, looking down their noses at the non-entertainment CMs. It's like high school for 22 year olds.

I feel for all of those families which young kids in the character lines. My best friend is a Character Attendant CM. he has told me countless of stories where he has to leave families turned away. The ones who tend to throw a fit, remember this. Those "Characters", who usually put a smile on your child's face, are people too. It gets hot in there. Those attendants have strict schedules they have to follow. How would you feel if you were the one in the suit, sweating bullets, an your attendant keeps letting families in? It is a vicious cycle.

I totally agree, but with my circumstance, we were inside- the only kids in line and the cm saw that. I would have appreciated a heads up that we probably wouldn't see the characters as other CM's have done. Not that my kids were all set to walk up to the characters and then bam sorry kids the characters have to go now. I'm a "human" too but I have a heart, and can't see the justification in my particular story, a little courtesy heads up is all I'm asking for.

And no one is implying that all CM's are horrible, no way, there are tons that are wonderful I'm sure. But unfortunately THERE ARE some bad apples, no exaggeration needed.
