Ever had any problems with hotelkingdom.com?

Hi,
I would like to use hotelkingdom.com to book our hotel since I found a great rate, but I am a little hesitant since I've never used an independant company to book a hotel. Have you ever had a problem with them losing your ressie or wanting to charge you more once you got there? Thanks in advance for any info you can share .

We have used HK 3 times for rooms in the MK area...Vistana once and Vistana Villages twice back in the day when they offerred great rates on HK...no problems at all with pricing or anything.

When we stayed at Vistana in December '02, we went up to the room (a 1 bedroom in the Cascades section) and did not care for the location (near the main road nor the size, it was a "smaller 1 bedroom) and when I returned to the front desk they were very accomodating in getting us into a larger 1 bedroom unit in a quieter location with nothing said about who we booked through or the price we were paying.

My brother has used HK for 1 or 2 night stays in many locations and has never had any problems. He called me just last week to find him a room for 1 night in Orlando after he was leaving the Daytona area on business. I found him a room at the Sleep Inn at Universal for $40 a night using the HK website on just 1 days notice. It was more than adequate and just what he needed before heading to MCO the next morning.

Used hotelkingdom.com for reservations at Universal's Royal Pacific resort last October and would use them again. If you go to the Universal resort board, you might find more good reviews about hotelkingdom - they are used quite a bit for Universal resort bookings.

I use them at least twice a year and have used them since 2000, most recently for my January trip last month. NEVER had a problem once. I highly recommend them.

Just booked Cypress Pointe through them and they had my reservation at Cypress the same day the charge showed up on my card. I saved almost 20.00 a night over hotelmartusa.com.
