Ever had a whole ride/show/attraction to yourself?

I have had this experience a number of times on isaw and POTC. Boy can that be a long ride on iasw when the guest volume bearly reaches the critical mass necessary for the boats to complete the circuit. On DLR's POTC, I swear this added nearly 5 minutes to the ride time.

In March 2004, I had an extra day from a conference and went to EPCOT alone. I was the only one in the "train" for Journey to Imagination, but one other person came up at the last minute and got in the last seat. I rode the boat in Mexico totally alone - that was strange. In June 2004, during family vacation, at the end of the day, I rode MS with just one other person in the capsule.

During our last trip back in early May, my DD5 and I had Star Tours to ourselves. It was very near closing time. The cast member asked if we wanted to ride again. So we did.

Also, our family dined at San Angel Inn in Mexico. Afterward we rode El Rio del Tiempo (River of Time) and we were the only ones in our boat.

Early May right before school gets out for the summer is a great time to go. We've decided that's the time we'll go on future trips. We may try September right after school starts just to see if it's as good as May. Plus, we'de really like to check out Night of Joy.

It was Peter Pan for us. Went through 3 times before we disembarked. :earsboy:

We were at WDW a few days after September 11th and the place was a ghost town -
We always go to WDW for our anniversary and this year (our 5th) will be the week of September 10th -- we will be at Epcot on September 11th. ..and thinking about having rides all to ourselves reminded me of that trip....

Small world, we too were at WDW shortly after 9-11 and we too will be heading back this year for our 5th anniversary. We will be there the 16th-21st. :cheer2:

3 times I can remember. Once on a bus coming back from PI at ~2:30 am, just me and the wife. I'm glad the bus driver turned out the lights on the bus :rolleyes1

Once just this past spring break. Went to AK and headed straight to Dinoland as soon as they dropped the ropes. Rode Primeval Whirl 2 times without anyone else on the ride (and without getting off).

The third time was on Journey into Imagination (also last spring). The cars weren't even moving when we walked up. We thought the ride was broke down or something. They started the ride just for us!

Splash Moutain and Big Thunder Railroad on e-night about Sept 18th 2001 we were totally alone it was not that much fun. Very spooky and felt weird to be on Vacation with so much going on. That whole trip we were almost always by ourselves. The same trip we went to an early evening show of the Muppets 3-D in Mgm . Our family and another family of four were the only people in the whole theater.

Waaaaaay back in 1987 when I was in high school (...Uh, I don't know - play some video games, buy some Def Leppard t-shirts...) me and a buddy of mine were in Magic Kingdom (back when Magic Kingdom & EPCOT was IT!) during a long, long, thunderous rain storm (did I mention it was long & thunderous?)

We rode Space Mountain 6 times back-to-back without getting off.

I forgot to add that to mine too. We went to World Showcase right at opening and headed straight for that ride. We were the only ones on it, and then we ended up being in a practically deserted marketplace after the ride was over. It was really cool.

When we went in Sept 2003 DH,DS and I rode the Jungle Cruise all by ourselves. It was raining a little and was just before the parade was starting. Another night on the same trip DH saw Impessions de France by himself. That is one of his favorite things in EPCOT. He said it was really nice the cms talked to him for awhile about the movie and France and then he had his own private showing. Those are some of the special moments that make a trip really special!

POTC during a parade when the park was open until 1 am. El Rio Del Tiempo several times. CoP- just about every time we've seen it.

We once had the whole MK just about to ourselves. Back when our son was in the College Program - on an E-ride night when we were waiting for him to finish up work at the Emporium - we were the only people in view between the station and the castle. We walked around Tomorrowland and back to Main Street. Nobody there, either. I love the MK at night, but this was actually a little eerie. People make the magic as much as the park.

I had forgotten about this one. We hadn't yet been on the ferry during our last trip, so we decided to take it to the MK. We were the only ones on board. It was very cold, but we wanted to stay outside and see the fireworks. The pilot invited us into the cabin, and we watched the fireworks from there. We couldn't really see the fireworks as well from inside the cabin, but it was so magical being in there, and we were much warmer.

I had the Mexico boat ride all to my self last December right before Illuminations. It was great... :cool1:

Some people might believe this and others won't but I have went on IASW all by myself. I don't mean that there was no one in my party. I mean that there was no one else on the boat or in line at the time.

2 weeks ago, we were able to do the same thing on Imagination. (I miss Dreamfinder.) SO it can happen no matter when you go.

Wow, y'all are making me so jealous! DH and I were the only ones for "Sounds Dangerous" one morning. The CM came out to give his "speil" and said, so disappointedly, "Oh, you're the only ones here!" After seeing the show, I think everyone else was smart to stay away! But to be the only ones on POTC, HM, Splash, etc. How cool!

during wishes we had Pooh to ourselves. We got right on and asked to stay on no one else was waiting. It was fun.

in january we were on star tours, the person next to me videoed it all the way through-very bright backlit kind. how he did it is beyond belief! mentioned in passing to the exit c.m. that our ride had been ruined.to our amnamazement she took us straight round and let us ride again totally on our own.

My DH and I had Splash and POC all to ourselves on our trip last October. It was my first time on Splash so I was too nervous about the upcoming drops to really enjoy it. POC was interesting as we got stuck on the ride with no one in any boats around us.
