Okay, I thought about this after seeing Nat's post about the Fab 3 in the RV. :D

Has anyone ever seen or found a Disney pin -- and I'm talking authentic official Disney pins and not fantasy pins -- and thought, "that pin is definitely made for me", or even "that pin is definitely made for so-and-so"?

Lauri and I found one. Pinpics #8257, the Donald riding Dumbo. Dumbo is one of Lauri's favorite characters and Donald is one of mine, so this one was definitely "us."

YES!! (andd I am sure many of you have already guessed what it is)

It is the Tokyo Disneyland Red Cross Blood Donor pin

I work for red Cross and collect Red Cross pins too. When I first saw that pin I about hyperventilated. And when I got one of the 4 I cried.....

Still looking for 2000 and 2 from 2001. But from what I hear, this year they are not giving a pin as the gift to CM's who donate.

None for me - but boy , have I ever heard that cry from my kids!

oldest dd: Jiminy crazy/her nickname is ladybug - HAD to have the cm jiminy surrounded by ladybugs - then the new zodiac pins came out -yup, she's a libra (the jiminy pin)

2nd dd: has a lanyard with nothing but minnie pins - HAD to have the 'minnie girl' pin

youngest dd: our 'stinkerbell' or 'tink' when she's being cute. had to get her the spoiled tinkerbell - talk about made for someone!

only ds: not a pin - but have you seen the new mickey mouse bobblehead dressed in his AZ diamondbacks uniform? too cute - I can hardly wait for his 7th b-day to give it to him!

There is a Pooh and friends pin set - 1 pin with Pooh and friends and a separate pin with just a star - they are gazing up to the star. When my dad died 8 years ago, my brother wrote the most beautiful poem about Papa - making a wish on that magical star in the night sky. When i first saw that pin set, i knew i was meant to get it - a few months after my dad died, the rest of our family went to Disney on a trip my dad had planned for my folks' 50th anny. It was bittersweet but each night we looked to the stars in the night sky.
Hey, thanks for asking that question Matt, what wonderful memories they are!!!
