I have a cat that loves to sleep curled up in the bathroom sink. I'll try to post the picture later. It's a strange cat anyways! LOL
But we love him!!:D

Our very first apartment had a kitchen with a drop ceiling and one day we found our kitty inside the drop ceiling. We heard him crying but we couldn't find him anywhere, it wasn't until we turned on the lights that we saw his shadow and rescued him.

When a stray mom cat brought her 4 kittens to our house, they were very wild, you couldn't get near them. They would run and hide when they saw/heard us coming but the mom cat would always stay near them. I saw her out in front of our house near the driveway, just chilling out. So I decided to look for the kittens. I looked in the bushes, under the porch, under the cars. I knew she wouldn't leave them alone so they had to be here. Well I found them, in the engine of the car. The little devils had climbed up into the engine. I picked them out, squirming and screaming at me all the while. For months after that, we had to check cars before we could go anywhere or we would have had kitten parts spread all over the lawn.

Um, this is a little embarassing, but last week my cat got stuck in my sweat pants! I was in the bathroom, doing my business and my sweet little kitty decided to climb into my sweat pants that were around my ankles. He somehow found his way into one of the legs and got stuck. (Yes, this is a true story). I couldn't get him out so I called for help. My DD and DH came running thinking I'd gotten hurt, and instead of helping me get the stupid cat out, they stood there and laughed. DD came to the conclusion that I needed to take the pants off and shake him out.

Well, that didn't work either. The dummy had his back claws embedded into the pants, causing him to become more stuck. Finally I gave up, left the pants on the floor and let him figure it out on his own.

So, YES, I've found my pets in strange places. ;)

Everyday!! When you have four kittens you'd be shocked the places they can get stuck!

I have a large art deco dresser with very large drawers. For some reason my cats like to go into the top drawer and get behind it! BUT they cannot get out!! The drawer goes down from their weight to let them behind it but then goes back up and locks them in there!! I find myself rescuing a cat on a weekly basis!

I thought of a funny story that happened years ago. I had my cats flown down from New York a week after I moved to Atlanta 16 years ago. Rambo, my baby, was a nervous wreck and hated being moved. When he got to the house and we opened his box, he took off and we couldn't find him for hours. I was so afraid he had gotten out of the house and I was so upset that I had done the wrong thing by moving. Everyone was checking the neighborhood when I went into the kitchen to pray that we find my little guy. When I finished praying I heard a little "mewww". I went crazy!! I checked all the drawers, cabinets NOTHING. My boyfriend came in and checked behind the refrigerator. There we saw a long tail coming out of the back of the refrigerator!! :earseek:

Rambo had wedged himself in a small opening in the back of the fridge!! I couldn't believe it!

Every day with kittens is a missed opportunity to win 10,000 dollars on America's Funniest Home Videos!

Too, too funny. Thanks for the laugh today. :)

Yes........under the refrigerator (when she was new to the house and quite small). It took some doing to get her out.

IN a BIG pile of DD's stuffed animals. We looked all over for him.

They have fallen alseep in the sink, in crystal bowls.

My collie Kramer got himself stuck up on our picnic table and could not get down because he's afraid of heights. We had to lift him off. He also gets himself upstairs and can't get down

LOL! My dog has tried another approach to this. A couple of times he will try to jump up in my lap when I am in the bathroom and sometimes he misses my lap and ends up landing in my pants. It really freaks him out because he is so little and has a hard time trying to get himself out.

When we first got married, we lived in a small apartment and both of us worked night shift. One day, Gene woke up, went out to the kitchen to get a glass of ice water, and then went back to sleep. About an hour later I woke up, went to the kitchen to get a glass of ice water, opened the fridge - and there was the cat, stretched out all comfy on the bottom shelf. He just got up and walked out. Thank God I woke up and wanted a drink!

My daughter likes to put the cats into drawers and shut them. It is a good thing we are attentive pet parents and like having them around. We realize they are missing then we hear muffled meows and have to go rescue them.

I also found my cat in the dryer once AFTER I turned it on  She was fine and I got her out instantly. Needless to say I triple check my dryer now before turning it on since one of our cats loves to sleep in laundry.

I came home from work the other day to find my dog had locked himself in the downstairs bathroom. Somehow he went in there and got the door shut. He was one happy puppy when I let him out :D

I used to let my cat in the garage with me when I needed to get something. She used to like to climb on the car. One day, as I was looking for something, I heard a loud shuffling. I saw her as just as she wedged her way into the car from the drivers side window that was open about 4 inches. She sat in the drivers seat, put her front paws on the wheel and meowed at me. I guess she wanted to be like Toonces and take the car out for a drive.

I sometimes sort laundry in the floor of the laundry room on wash day. My dogs think this is a treat. They love to sleep in the dirty laundry.

Once I was working in the laundry room and I headed to the bedroom to put away a clean load. My dog had followed me from the laundry room. She made a funny noise so I looked at her and she was "wearing" my DH's Mickey Mouse shorts. Somehow she had gone through one leg and was dragging them behind her. I laughed that she is a Disney nut just like the rest of the family.

I have a cat that sleeps in the sink or the bathtub. I once caught him getting in the dryer, too. Another dog that we used to have rode on our shoulders in the car. That got lots of funny looks from other drivers.

We thought our cat,Honey, was missing. We searched the whole house, and finnally found her sound asleep inside a closed dresser drawer :-)

My cats? lets see ... they have been in dresser drawers, the linen closet (I've accidently shut them in there for HOURS), on TOP of the refrigerator, in the bathtub, in the kitchen cabinets, under and IN the Xmas tree, and under blankets, and sitting on heat vents, or on top of the TV, or on top of the PC monitor.

Outside the house, there's a bunch of stay cats who use my lawn furniture more than I do. They sit on it for hours!
