ever drive from WDW to HH?

Hi,
We live in AZ and flying to HH is crazy expensive. We were wondering if we could drive to HH from WDW to make one long vacation.

Have you ever driven? How long did it take?

We recently tried VB and loved it. Now we really want to see HH!

We've either driven from Jacksonville (flew SWA) or WDW when we go to HH every year. It is about 3 hours longer from WDW, but works out just fine for us!

We've driven from WDW to HHI..

It's about a 5 hour drive, and not too bad...

We often drive from WDW to HH and vice versa. It's about a 5-5.5 hour drive and the only place we've ever experienced a delay was through Jacksonville. I-95 goes right though Jacksonville and sometimes the traffic can be a little heavy. As long as you are driving from WDW to HH on a day there is a major event at Daytona, you should have no problems. It's a nice drive and not a tiring one. Just don't try it when there is a major event at Daytona or you'll sit in traffic for hours.

Thank you all for your responses. We are definitely going to add HH to one of our WDW trips now. We'll have to make it a longer trip overall. But can't complain about that! I may even look into flying to Jacksonville. Thanks for that tip also.

Just wanted to say we did this in March and it was no sweat! Took us 6 hours, we hit traffic in Savannah. Have fun!
