but as the wk goes by you realize how much you really did do?
Wow - did that wk fly! I wanna go back

We were there 8 days, it just flew by. We were totally wiped out when we got back, so I KNOW we did a lot. I must have walked 400 miles, I can actually feel a difference in my legs.

Hey, I might be on to a new diet. Forget carbs......walk off those mickey bars.....backpack weight helps build muscles.....

I don't think I have ever left WDW feeling satisfied like I'd had "enough." Yes, I'm doggone tired but then I fantasize about having a week at the GF to rest, enjoy the spa and pool ... followed by another week of the parks ... !!! LOL

I think that is why we keep going back! It's just so magical and so much to do that it would hard to ever get bored.

In 2000, we went to DLand. I thought, with 2 small children this would be great (I had business out there too) We had 4 days (upgraded to 5) and thought, wow, that'll be plenty! Especially since it's so much smaller. Well, I was never so disappointed in my life. I sat on the phone forever the night before we left trying to change our airline reservations to stay one more day (just one more, that's all I need, ha! ha!) I don't think I could EVER get enough.

If I could, I'd be like a lot of you guys who go every year or more than once a year. We are struggling to afford this trip, but it's so very worth it. Disney is the best. I think I could go twice a year and never tire of it! We talked to some friends last night that went last year, and she said,"It was fun, but I don't care if I ever go back." I just don't get it???

You can never have enough days in the world! We always return exhausted! This time, we have a longer trip planned, with days specified to just relax and enjoy the resort! I hope we can actually stick to that!

But just to be sure, we are going to start walking everyday for a few weeks before our trip, trying to build up our endurance!

I've been on week long trips with the DGDs and longer trips with DH. Once, for an anniversary trip, we spent 16 wonderful days! I'm of the opinion that even a month wouldn't be enough. The older I get, the faster times goes, BUT....it's accelerated 10 fold at WDW!

Last March I was there for 9 days and I walked so much that I wore holes in all of my socks and I was constantly doing something from the time that the park opened until it closed and i came back feeling like I had only been there for a couple of hours... I'm trying to figure out when I can go back....

I love the feeling at the beginning of the vacation when I think "Wow! Eight whole days ahead of me!" Then as the week goes on, it becomes "Oh, no! Only 4 more days left!" The last day I am always trying to find some way to squeeze a few extra days out.

I have NEVER had a trip where I did everything I wanted to do. I usually plan on a few leisurely days by the pool or at the water parks but I always end up heading back to the parks and running out of time! Still haven't hit the miniature golf places or spent any real time at Boardwalk. Also haven't been able to do much resort hopping to see where I might want to stay in the future!
