Ever any good discounts right after Thanksgiving?

My daughter has told me that for her 16th birthday she wants me to take her and her younger sister to WDW for a few days...just a dad & daughters' trip. Her birthday is Dec. 1 so we would be going right after Thanksgiving. I wondered if there are ever any good lodging or free dining discounts around this time?

Check out Mousesavers.com they have the historical discounts listed. I think they usually have a FD offer right after Thanksgiving.

We have been the last two years. In 2009, we had a 40% room discount for WL that began the Sunday following Thanksgiving. If I remember correctly, FD was also available...but the 40% was more of a savings for us. Last year, in 2010, we got FD the Saturday right after Thanksgiving. It is very possible there will be discounts. We are hoping too, since we'll be there again. It is a great week, getting progressively busier, but still a great time to be in the World. Happy planning.

We had FD last year for week of Dec1 starting after T-giving. That is when we are going this year, so hope it is offered again! Happy early Bday to your daughter! Subscribe to the Nov and Dec code watches and you can keep track of disboards chatter for those times. I can't remember when the deals came out last year, but it seems like we didn't book until summer. I know the most recent code I got (FD through 8/13) must be booked by 4/30, so I would expect a deal sometime in May. Oh, and BTW, I did have a PIN earlier this year for 40% off deluxe, 30 % off values for that week!!! I just didn't know I was going then Uggh, what a wasted deal!

yeah i got that pin too-however i DID use it! i was going to use it for 2 rooms @ POP but the lady on the ressie line talked me into OKW 2 bdrm! 40% off baby!! I must admit, we werent planning on a dis trip this year but that code seemed to good NOT to use it! I think thats Disney's plan!! checking in Sunday after TG til following Sunday
