Event planning possibilities at Disneyland?

Hey All - My 50th bday is coming up in September and my DH and I are planning a dinner at DL to celebrate - we had originally thought to use a private room at Napa Rose (I think we will have around 15-20 people) but I talked with the manager there and he thought they may have a renovation going on at that time. Is there an event planning staff that plans private in-park events like there is at DW? I mean, I wouldn't mind having my bday dinner somewhere cool inside the park, say, in the Tiki Room?

There is an event-planning staff at Disneyland, but unfortunately the options are limited. Or, I should say, the small-party options are limited. They mostly deal with large corporate events. We looked into it for our fifth anniversary, but the cheapest in-park option that appealed to us was a dinner at the old Tahitian Terrace (now Aladdin's Oasis) that had something like a $7,000 food and beverage minimum and a 60-guest minimum. It's not like Epcot, which was built to host private events and has smaller, more affordable venues.

But give them a call at group sales and see what they say: 1-714-520-7034. If you're up for something not inside the parks, I know they have a private dining experience on the Concierge Lounge balcony at the Grand Californian. The fireworks view isn't super-great, but people enjoy it.
