How do they control who can stay in the park for Evening Magic Hours? (The one for resort guests, not the for fee event). I can see how they would know who is allowed in for Morning Magic hours, but how do they know who is a resort guest for the evening hours?

In the past you had to show your key to the world (or now magic band) in order to gain access to rides. People without EMH access don't actually have to leave the parks, they just can't partake in any attractions.

Everyone can stay in the park and shop or eat. At attractions, they will scan your MagicBand (or RFID Card) to see if you are a Disney Resort Guest.
