evening fireworks

Are there evening fireworks at Universal? We expect to be there early February.

They only have fireworks on special occasions usually during summer don't know if they do them for mardi-gras

They are not to be missed. When we stayed at RPR this summer we could watch them from our room. It was great!

No Mardi Gras fireworks. They are during summer and winter peak only.

DM--Any idea what the start date for the summer '04 fireworks is yet? Last summer arrived on 8/13, last day of fireworks was 8/9. In December left on 12/23 and fireworks started ??? within days of our departure I believe. We'll be back 6/30-7/4 (hopefully catch the Spiderman 2 premeire!). Would love to see them. I hear they are spectacular!

7/4 - 8/8 or 8/15 would be the most likely for summer.

Winter is always 12/26-12/31.

Oh sadness! Looks like we'll miss them again. We're supposed to leave Orlando on 7/4. Not likely we'll want to stick around until after dark when we are scheduled to drive home that day!

I don't think they ever had fireworks during Mardi Gras, because of the parade & concert series.

DM. last year they had fireworks at IoA the week before Easter and the Mardi Gras stuff at Universal. I don't so much care about the MG parade, but thought that the fireworks were some of the best I'd ever seen.

Hmm. Well, if IOA has fireworks, then they'll have them. If not, they wont. We'll find out when the time comes.
