How busy does it usually get for evening extra magic hours? We will have park hopper passes this trip and my DH and DS might be up for hopping to that park once I put the little ones in bed. I don't want to send them if they won't be able to really get on any rides..

The few times we have been it has been extremely busy, but we are there in aug. with the crowd levels at a 6-7 out of 10. I would think it would depend on what time of year you are going. But even though it is crowded we love it. the parks at night are a whole different feel.

A lot will depend on when you're going and how busy the park was during the day. Basically anyone in the park is allowed join a ride line up till the normal closing time, after that it's only hotel guests, but you will be joining at the back. So if normal closing time is 9:00pm I could join the line at 8:59 and you at 9:01, but I can't join at 9:01. So if the park is busy it will take some time for the line to clear to a point where you get the advantage.

We always use the EMH in the evening. Love the feeling of the parks at night and it's a shorter wait for almost all the rides, in our experience. We've had several nights were we were able to repeatedly ride a ride due to low crowds. The later it gets the thinner the crowd gets.
I wouldn't miss it.

I love EMH night hours at the MK. We stayed until 3 am Labor Day weekend. It was crowded until about 1:30 and then it was dead. In December we went to one that was from 11pm to 1 am and it was dead well before 11. We were there March 9 and we got to the park around 8:30 and had FP's for BTMRR, Space Mountain and Peter Pan. Rode rides during the parade and fireworks with no wait...and it seemed that the park cleared out around 11 that night...by 1 am when the EMH started we were tired and left since we had done pretty much the whole park in those hours.

I miss that 3rd extra hour. Surely the attendance is high enough to warrant reinstating it ....

Hoping for an extension to 3 am the week of Independence Day. Late hours make a difference.

Epcot from our experience can be very hit or miss so we do the EMH at night without plans to do anything and if we get onto rides with short wait times, it's a bonus. Works for us.
