Hi again

Second Post already!!!

We have the limitation of only 2 days in WDW and would like all your opinions on the best 2 of the evening shows to see..

Illuminations vs Fantasmic vs Wishes

Any comments on the parades - Spectromagic, Motor Cars and Share a Dream would also be much appreciated.

We have 2 little ones - DS at 5+1/2 and DD at 2+1/2. Both are Character mad but do not do scary and are not good at waiting around too long without entertainment (is this the same for all parents?)!!!!!!

Thanks again to all

We've seen both Wishes & SpectroMagic several times and still are a great thrill - kept the grandsons attention the entire time. Our grandsons are 2 and 3 so Fantasmic is a bit intense so we haven;t tried that with them but we enjoy it. Illuminations is a bit long for real little folks but again a family favorite for the rest of us. Heck, the only thing we don't like is the trip to the airport on departure day!!!

I agree, Fantasmic (my all time favorite show ever on Disney property) will probably be too intense, and Illuminations a bit long. Illuminations is great for watching, but maybe a little too mature for such young ones to appreciate (jmho). I'd stick with Wishes and Spectromagic.

I also love Share a Dream Come True, and if they are character mad, they will love it too.

Motor Cars is good, but...I'd prefer the parade at Epcot (with the huge puppets and drums) for myself and my 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr olds.

Have fun, don't think anything will be bad though!

As far as waiting for shows/parades, they generally have some sort of wandering street entertainment going by as the show/parade draws near. Otherwise, do as others, and plan to get a bite to eat (hot dogs from Casey's, or ice cream or some other little treat?) while you wait in your prime spot that you snagged an hour or so(depends on how busy it is, maybe 20-30 min on a slow day) before the event, or even have one parent save your spot while the other one takes the kids for a potty break before the parade (hopefully), after the snacks and drinks...

Thanks for all your input.

Decided that MK is a done deal with Share a Dream,SpectroMagic and Wishes.

Now unsure as to whether to go to EC in the am and then cross over to MGM for Motor Cars and spend the pm finishing with Fantasmic
OR start at MGM and cross over to EPCOT for the pm and Illuminations. Decisions decisions

Three questions. -

Is there a parade in EPCOT?
How long will it take to get from EC to MGM?
How frequent does the Disney character bus in EPCOT come around?

Thanks again

My vote: Fantasmic and Wishes. Illuminations isn't what it used to be.

the Epcot parade (Tapestry of Dreams/Nations) is no more. Hasn't been for at least a year, if not longer.
