Evening entertainment?

Can anyone share what evenings are like at Aulani? For example, how often are the outdoor movie nights? Is there live music every evening? I don't find the app clear on this. Thank you!

1. Every night at the Olelo room they had live entertainment mostly Hawaiin music which is great, some nights lounge singers which was ok but I prefer the Hawaiin music.

2. The 10year anniversary hula near the pool. We found it to beautiful and great for the kids. 2 nights a week

3. Stories with uncle, also a kid favorite by the pool. Although they usually fall asleep mid way through the stories. 2 nights a week.

4. We loved doing the menahune adventure trail in the evening it was also fun watching everything light up at night.

5. Night swim in the infinity pool. Pools were open ‘till 10pm when we were there and it was magnificent

6. For a fee. There is stargazing witch we loved we were able to get some nice pictures of the planets

7. For a large fee you can do the luau at aulani

Check the app on pool hours. They may be seasonal. Last month pool hours were until 8pm. Then they changed it to 10pm . Lazy river and slide close at 6pm throughout.

Please tell me more about the stargazing

The stargazing is fun. We never used a real telescope before. So a local enthusiast, not sure if he is an astronomer by trade. Comes out on clear nights and sets up his telescope (a fancy one) And he dials into to different planets and moon. I have never seen the planets like that before. My 5yo and I loved it. My wife thought it wasn’t worth it but I did. I was shocked to see how clearly you can see the planets.

We have a small telescope at home for fun but we don’t really know how to use it right, it was nice to talk to someone who knows what they are doing.
