Evening emh's at ak?

We love a night at AK, but it shows 2 emh mornings & no evenings for this August. Looking back to last years, it was the same. We last went in 2010 & the evening one was on then. Anyone shed any light on this? AK is so different in the dark, hope it's an error.

The main interest in AK resides in its animals.
Animals at AK are trained to "live their lives" during the day while many are nocturnals.
It's easy to understand why there won't be many evening EMH, if there are evening EMH at all. Respecting animals is part of your answer

There is no EMH during the evening at AK this due to the animals so we were told last year.

Sadly not a mistake as I loved evening emh at AK too, was lovely wandering around the park in the dark, completely different atmosphere!

They canned evening emh's about last March or April iirc, presumably because not enough people were attending to justify the expense (as mentioned, most people go for things like the Safari which obviously doesn't run past dusk) - hence the park has 2 morning emh's now instead.

It's going to a bit of a wait, but I suspect we will get the emh at AK once the Avatar themed expansion is complete!

Thanks for the replies everyone. It's disappointing as we've had fantastic times, but know it's not that well attended so understand the reasoning. One evening it was raining & we just went around & around on Kali Rapids, chatting to 2 American families. Hopefully it will be put back on in the future or maybe a reason to go during the winter.
