Evening EMHs @ AK?

I have been reading that the evening EMHs at some parks get very crowded, but wondering if this is also the case at AK? Normally we go to AK in the afternoons because it seems that most others hit it first thing in the morning and leave shortly after lunch. I'm wondering if this trend reverses on EMH days?

Any experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Our experience in mid May of this year was that the EMH's at all of the parks EXCEPT for AK were crowed. AK was not. We were able to walk onto everything that we wanted to do during the EMH and even left early since we had done everything that we wanted to during that time. Would definitely do evening EMH at AK again. Have a great trip.

Thanks! The day we arrive has evening EMH at AK so we thought we might just head over there since we don't know how late it might be when we actually get checked in. Are all the rides open? Safari?

When we were there EMH was from 5-8, the Safari was only open til 6:30 or so. It will depend on the time of year and the actual EMH hours for that time. And just like at the other parks, only certain things were open, most of the major ride. You can get a complete list of what will be open by going to touringplans.com, they usually have the lastest list of EMH's and what is open.

Our first day is also the AK EMH evening (well according to the 2005 schedule so far). I think we are going to do the same thing. It sounds pretty good and we love AK.
