They havent done any EMH for a long time - they started it on some evenings with most of the same rides open as am but with BTM and POC as well but seemed to have stopped it.
I think they probably found it harder to control

aww and there was me thinking id have best of both worlds with am & pm... how greedy am i hehe.

i was just on dlrp magic and i seen this...

Evening Extra Magic Hours

From 5pm onwards, special wristbands are handed out under Main Street Station at the entrance to Disneyland Park. Go here with your Disney Hotel EasyPass or Annual Passport Dream and tell the Cast Member how many people are in your group. You'll receive the correct number of fluorescent wristbands and can then show these to Cast Members at attraction entrances to gain entry throughout the extra hours. Non-Extra Magic Hours guests will be able to stay in the park during these hours, but thanks to this system will not be able to ride the attractions or (in some cases) shop in the boutiques, helping the maintain the "exclusive" invite as a thank you only for Disney's own hotel guests and passholders!

If you appear to have missed the hand-out of wristbands, just go to City Hall at any time through the evening.

When you arrive at your Disney Hotel, be sure to pick up the latest Extra Magic Hours guide leaflet (updated around every two weeks) for a full listing of the attractions and restaurants available during both morning and evening hours.

i should of known seen as i havnt noticed it been talked about on here!

thanks for your help :goodvibes

Yeah, I saw that and got exctied, but I think they just haven't updated that bit of the site lately.

It's a shame as I'd feel less hurried if I wanted to eat in the parks on my january trip.

There were evening EMH last May when we were there, but it didn't seem particularly well-managed. It was also a bit of a hassle having to go back to Main Street and queue for a wristband, as by the end of the day, that can seem like quite a walk if you're over in the far corners of Adventureland!

I also didn't notice the CMs on PotC or BTM checking wristbands at all - maybe because it wasn't hugely busy at that time - but we didn't really see the benefit of having queued for the bands. It also seems like a bit of a waste of time, money and effort for the wrist bands to be given out, when they could instead do it in the morning and restrict people going in, which seems to work really well.

Having said that, I think evening EMH are a nicer idea than morning EMH, so it's a difficult one really. :confused3

I was at one evening EMH last July & couldn't see any policing of who had wristbands & who hadn't, so maybe they just gave it up as a bad job?
