Evening EMH Question

My family is headed to WDW May 22-May29. Our last trip was in April '03. THis will be our first time using the evening EMH. How does it all work? I have read that you have to get an armband. Is there a time limit on when you can get the band? We have made dinner PS's without knowing EMH nights and I worry about getting back to the parks in enough time to get the armband. Can I enter the parks after the EMH is already started if I have my resort ID? Sorry if this is confusing, it's late!!!

They start distributing wristbands to resort guests 2 hours before the evening Magic Hours start. You can still enter after the official closing time if you are a Disney resort guest. You will then recieve your wristband for the three additional park hours.

Welcome to the DIS!!! I just wanted to add-- you will need a resort ID card for each person in your group. This includes children as well (3 and over). So, if there are 5 of you-- you'll need all 5 individual cards.
