evening EMH question

I know that the parks stay open "up to 3 hours" after normal closing hours, and I've read that they "typically" are open 3 hours late. How often is this actually 3 hours, instead of just an hour or two? Does it depend on the park, or the time of year, or anything?
More specifically, we're going the first week of June, & trying to make trip plans. How likely are the evening EMH parks (and their "selected attractions") going to be open a full three extra hours?

Anytime I've been to Disney...it's always been the full 3 hours.

Since EMH started, so far not a single person has mentioned on these boards that it was less than three hours, so I am pretty sure that so far it has always been for three hours. Even when that meant MK was open till three in the morning, it was still three hours.

So does that mean if the MK is scheduled to be open until midnight anyway this summer, they would stay open until 3am?

Also does anyone know if EE will be EMH attractions at AK for mornings and evenings?

That's almost a "given".
The point of a new attraction is to get guests to come to WDW to RIDE it.

just got back from EMH at MK this morning, yes this morning.

Posted park closing was 10pm. EMH 3 hours - you get to stay until 1am. I was VERY surprised by how many children were still up this late at night.

And I wonder how many of them were dragged to another park's EMH this morning. It's no wonder you see so many cranky kids...

I agree - we skipped the early EMH at AK, mainly because we were exhausted. Hit MGM (or DS), at around 11, and stayed until 9:30 (EMH until 10pm). Sad thing about MGM EMH is that once you do RockNRollerCoaster, and maybe TOT (not my ride), there's not a lot left to do. I counted only 8 attractions/rides open during MGM EMH.

Fast passes for RNRC opened up at 7:08, and went VERY fast. Our FP time was for 7:45-8:45, and when we showed up at 8:45, the standby was 60 minutes.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at the SCI-FI Theater.

We were there this summer and did EMH at MK and was there after midnight don't remember the exact time. But we would sleep late in the mornings and stay out late in the parks. This worked great for us because my son is a night owl......

We took advantage of the EMH at MK. It was great! We happened to meet a friend and a fellow disser there and we sent the DH's and children back to the resort at around 11:00 pm (they were exhausted). MK was open until 12:00 so we got back there around 11:30 and stayed until 3:00. It was well worth it. The park that day was so crowded we were unable to get much done. We rode all the rides that we had missed that day. There were even some open that were not listed to be open. My DH let me sleep in the next morning and then we went back to MK so they could finish up. I was a bit tired, but again it was worth it.
