Evening EMH at MK worth it?

Ok, kinda a long story here... For some reason which I cannot remember I dropped my BOG dinner ADR. Decided I wanted it back so enlisted the Touring Plans res finder and last night I managed to click through in time to score one!

Yay!

Except it was 8/19 which I had intended to be an AK day. No problem - I'll just swap my planned 8/19 AK day with my planned 8/23 MK day.

Then I realized that I had 8/23 as an MK day because it's scheduled for EMH that evening from 9pm to 11pm. I don't have hoppers as I don't hop enough to make it worth paying the uncharge for hoppers, and one night is definitely not worth that.

Right now, I currently have 8/21 planned as a DS day with the possibility of going to HS for Fantasmic that evening. I'm pondering making 8/21 my first AK day of the vacation and down DS for the morning/early afternoon of 8/23 then going to MK and stay through Evening EMH. That would mean no Fantasmic this trip - and probably Tusker House lunch rather than breakfast on the 21.

Thoughts? Is MK evening EMH worth changing things around?

I really like evening EMH because the park is pretty much dead after 9:00, but I don't think I'd go through the hassle of moving everything around just to attend.

I have tentative ADRs in case I do switch.

I think a lot will be determined by the MNSSHP dates when those are released. (Or maybe Disney After Dark?) Something is happening 8/25 because MK is closing at 7pm that night. The 22nd is Epcot Evening EMH, and while I know "sleep is for when you are home" I am not sure I can take 3 super late nights - especially when 2 would be in a row (8/22 Epcot and 8/23 MK with only a day between those two and the 25th to recover...while doing AK on the 24th.

So if you make HS for the 23rd in the morning/afternoon then go to MK EMH you would have to have a hopper ? I myself am going the 16th to night EMH at MK and yes I really switch things around to be able to go. I think the hours will be extended to close at 11:00 maybe which will make EMH 11:00-1:00. They did last year. So you would be able to watch Fantasmic and go to the night EMH at MK. Either way if you have a hopper you can leave any park close to closing and make it to the MK EMH. The also have a new express transportation but it cost more money.
The Epcot EMH is always over at 11:00 so that's not to awful late and to throw another wrench in the plan AK hours will probably be extended to 11:00 and possibly may have late EMH. Right now they have late AK EMH from end of May to July from 11:00 to 1:00 every night.

No, if I decide to switch things up for evening EMH at MK, Studios would get nixed - I would literally only be going for Fantasmic, and that is not make-or-break. There is literally nothing else at that park I bother with.

I'm not that thrilled about Fantasmic but I know some are. The only thing we like at HS is the RNRC and the Great Movie Ride. We are going to do those two and then hop to MK.

Maybe because it was the first night show I saw as an adult, but I love it. It's not worth paying the upgrade to a hopper for just that though - and I don't have plans to hop any other day. A lot of the time I don't even pay $75 for a 2.5 hour performance on Broadway (thanks to lottery for cheap tickets)! LOL.
