Evening AK strategy ?

I will be visiting in June and my AK day will have it closing at 8:00pm. I know there is a good bit of confusion with what to expect with evenings at AK this summer with new night time offerings. With all that in mind, I'm struggling with my dinner ADR. I know we want to eat at Tusker House. I currently have a 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm ADR, but I'm not sure which to cancel. Do you think I'm better eating early and using it as a break to then take advantage of everything the evening offers or start dinner at closing time and enjoy an after dinner walk through a mostly empty park? I'm with my 11 year old son who is super excited about EE and KS and doing those after dark would be cool. Any advice would be great because I keep flip flopping. Thanks!
