We are planning a short stay in Orlando near Universal, but we won't be visiting the parks. Is there anything around there that would be fun for a five-year-old on a Sunday evening?

Our kids loved the Lego store at Downtown Disney. I'm not sure if this counts as a park but no admission is required for the section where Legoland is. Plenty of restaurants, etc. there as well. They have gobs of legos set up in a playground outside the store and kids can build whatever they want. They have a race car ramp. My kids loved building their own cars and racing them down the ramp. They could have stayed there for hours!!!!

We're going to Universal/HRH in May and I'm hoping to go back just to give the boys something to do at night since the parks close so early these days.

MY 8 YEAR OLD LOVED THE PIRATE DINNER THEATER.
SHE HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME.

WELL WORTH OUR TIME. WE FOUND SEVERAL COUPONS AROUND
TOWN WHICH HELPED WITH CUTTING THE COST.

IT TOOK UP ONE WHOLE EVENING AND...... I EVEN ENJOYED IT!!!
