At Toefungus' request for more photos, here's another lot. The last group was my "A" list, so you'll see a few "warts" on some of these. But I think you'll like them anyway!
There's also a couple of daytime photos in these too.
Here's a little different take on Spaceship Earth. If you want interesting photos of "known" subjects, look for new or odd angles.
The ballon vendor at MGM.
"On the Boardwalk!..."
Pleasure Island, around 10 PM.
Ditto!
OK, not a technically great photo (it's "soft"), but I loved the subject. We exited Alien to find this family trying there hardest to "figure" out the Talking Trash Can. I got a kick out of the kid looking for the feet under the can. The can told the other kid "Hey! Your backpack is hurting my head!"
One of the WL totem poles.
Artist's Point at WL. The best meal we ate at WDW this time around. (Though Calfornia Grill wasn't too bad either!) It was during this meal that we decided to take the plunge with DVC and switched our desired resort to VWL! That turned out to be the most expensive meal we've ever eaten!
WL at night.
The pool at WL. The last time we stayed at WL it was in January and there wasn't quite this much night time activity except for a few of us crazy Northerns!
The EWP as it passes the beach at VWL! (You know you're in too deep when you start talking in code.)
I had hoped to get a little better shot of this... there's too much camera movement for my liking. It's an eight second exposure, but I timed it so the flash strobes from the attraction would fire and "freeze" the boat on it's way down.
Another eight second shot, but looking down Frontierland this time. I like the visable "tracks" people left as they walked through the frame. My wife is also posing for me while leaning against the closed food stand on the left and holding still.
Here's a wider shot from the deck of the train station after the end of E-night. It's kinda nice because it show the town square area. It's that area were you usually linger a few minutes (well, we do anyway) before saying farewell to MK for the last time each trip.
WL and the waterfall. The 1/4 second exposure time gives the water that 'flossy' look.
One more Illuminations shot. This is the start of that long bright burst at the end of the show.
Here's a tough Hidden Mickey to capture. It's in the WL's "Geologic" fireplace. It's tough because the light is low and your camera want's to use it's flash. But the Mickey only shows up from the shadows of light coming from the outside windows to the right. If you use your flash, it "disappears". This one's a little soft due to camera movement. I took it as we were leaving WL after check-out and didn't have time to get it properly.
