Eve EMH @EPCOT, o.k. for just dinner?

I have an AR for dinner in Morocco on an evening EMH night at Epcot. I'm wondering if I should try to change it for another night. We do not plan to ride any rides, we just want to eat and watch Illuminations. I'm waffling about calling right now.

Is EMH in the World Showcase so crowded that we are going to be miserable if we are just going to the restaurant, or is it not so bad if you are not trying to get on rides?

I'm also afraid that if I call to change, there won't be any good times (i.e. early enough for ds7) left the following evening, and I will have to pass on this restaurant, which is one of my trip highlights...

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Attractions open during Epcot EMH are at Future World, so that section will be crowded. You should be fine if you're doing the World Showcase, especially if you're just going for dinner and Illuminations.

We've done World Showcase when EMH evening was on and I didn't notice an upsurge in the crowds in WS. Besides WS is huge, so there's more room for people to spread around. Keep your AR. You'll be OK.
