EVC rental prices in park

Does anyone know what the price of the scooters in the parks? I will have to rent one for the park days and am trying to put away the money for it. I have looked into getting one in my room but I am able to walk (hopefully) for short distances and we are not able to get it in and out of the car so the easiest thing to do is rent it at the park. We are not going to be there long.

The last I heard it's about $48/day to rent an on-site park scooter from Disney.

If you are staying on Disney property, an outside scooter rental company will deliver to Disney. From that point you can utilize the transportation options at Disney to get back and forth everywhere. My last outside rental with Apple Scooters ran me $150/week. They have portable travel scooters, too. The heaviest piece on the small model goes about 36 pounds and breaks down into 5 pieces. If you can't fit it all in the car trunk many people use their back seat.

There will be 5 of us in the car, 2 of whom are in car seats. All the things for the little one's will be in the trunk. Also, we are only there for a couple of days. We prefer to use our car instead of Disney transport when we are at Disney unless we have to. We will use the monorail to go from MK to Epcot and then back but that is usually it. Also since there will be at least 4 of us in the room with a pack n play as well there really won't be a lot of room in the room for a scooter. Another time when we are there for a longer time I will think about renting from somewhere but I don't think it would work out for this short fast trip that we are taking. This vacation is really a last minute thing.
