So my dad has had both knees replaced and is awaiting another replacement to cover the first one that is now coming apart inside his leg (scheduled for Sept). We are going to be spending 2 days in the parks with them in August. A ECV is needed for sure as he will not be able to walk the long distances. My parents will be staying in there house in Ocala Florida and driving in. After talking to several rental companies it seems that outside rental is not an option (unless someone knows something else) because they can not deliver to a hotel and will not allow pick up at the warehouse? We feel that this leaves us getting a EVC in the park. We will be going to DHS on day 1 and Epcot on Day 2. If we go straight from rope drop to rent the EVC is there any chance they may run out or should we be good? Also, if anyone knows of outside places that will rent and let you pick up please let me know. Does anyone know the cost of renting in park? THanks!!

I don't know who you have been calling, but all of the rental companies listed in Post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs deliver to hotels. But if your parents will be at their house in Ocala they can contact a company up there and rent from them for a few days.

I also believe that Apple Scooters, has a store right on Disney property and I believe that you could pick one up there if you wanted, but I agree with Cheshire and see about renting one and having it delivered rather than picking it up yourself.
