My Mom will be accompaning us on our next WDW trip . She'll be using an EVC. We are staying at the AKL concierge, will she be able to participate in the sunrise safari? She'll want to take the EVC as the tour ends at AK and she'll definately need it for the day in the park. Thanks!

All quests with special needs should call guest relations prior to their visit. Accomodations can be made for your mom, they just need to know prior to your arrival. Call (407) 939-8687 or the concierge at AKL for more info.

Yes she will. DH has the same situation and we are booked in May for the sunrise safari. I spoke directly to Don in planning at AKL concergie and he told me all they had to do was note that he would be using it and they will provide a van/bus with w/c access. The only concern they had was rather or not he could get up steps which is not a problem since I guess the tour bus doesn't have a w/c accessible utility.

Yes the truck for the tour can have wheelchair accessibility if needed but it will not fit an ECV. Only fits a wheelchair or power chair. If using an ECV he will park it and get on the truck just as all the other guests. I've done it both ways.
