EVC accesable rooms

Hi. I have rented a ECV for our upcoming trip. I just had surgery and this is going to make it much more comfortable. THANKS TO FELLOW DISSERS!! We are staying at OKW and at CSR. My question is wheather these hotels have an elevator or should I call and request a room the is ground floor. I can stand and walk a bit but not all day. I had a hysterectomy on Nov. 22. Any help would be great.

There are only a few buildings at OKW that have elevators. I think you need to contact Member Services there and explain that you have an ECV and either must be on the ground floor or in one of the buildings with an elevator.

All the buildings at Coronado have elevators.

If you rented thru Member Services (using DVC points or as a member paying cash), you would call Member Services. If you rented thru the regular Disney Reservation Service (CRO), then you would call them. Make sure that they something about needing first floor or elevator building for "Medical Reasons" on the confirmation slip.

I called DVC and took care of the OKW res. I did not call CSR because I was told that they all had elevators. Thank you for responding.
