Evaluating kids clubs

I have planned an evening with my DH for dinner during our stay. Since we are eating at Citrico's I have reserved at the Mouseketeer Club at GF. However, I have only been able to find 1 review that was not very positive (place very small, not many activities etc.) and so I am hesitant in using this club. Upon reading other threads on this topic there seem to be a few other kids clubs that get good reviews (Sandcastle, Neverland). So I am wondering if it is possible to check out the clubs at various locations during the day to evaluate which you may prefer to use?

If so, do you think it would be logical/doable to use a club at a different resort than GF? Some may be very far away such as BC or AK.

Any opinions/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

When my kids were younger they loved going to The Neverland Club at The Polynesian and Simba's Cubhouse at Animal Kingdom Lodge. - with their favorite being TNLC. If you left your child at The Neverland Club you would just need to take the monorail to the GF for dinner - and then back to the Polynesian to pick him up - no need to do a lot of traveling. We always coordinated where the kids would be staying to where we were eating dinner - didn't want to "waste" all the time traveling back and forth.

My kids never stayed at the one at the GF so I can't compare, but the two they went to we were always pleased with and they always enjoyed themselves.

Good luck!

Jill
