Last year we never made a single rope drop despite getting up early and having breakfast in the hotel room.

This year as we were on Indian Creek i thought we stood a fighting chance.

This was COlumbus day in the US and we expected quite a crowd so it was essential we got there and we did 15 mins before opening. The excitement was tangible from the kids, they were all asking which way they should run when we got the go ahead, lets get to Test Track i replied. Beth being Beth cried and was scared even though she had been on this and loved it last year, but here face changed when we got back. Before i had chance to ask her what she thought she was in one side of the hummer and out the other running for a 2nd go- which we completed. Following Test Track we walked over to Soarin and waited just 5 mins aswell as Fastpassing it for later. This was as good as i remember especially the Golf shot and the Orange smell- what a ride!

We headed then to Honey I shrunk the audience and walked straight in, well not exactly true as we grabbed the sick bags for the Kodak advert at the start- it really annoys me that thing, i wont be going on ever again unless they change it. We used our fastpasses for soarin then headed to test track for another go, only 10 mins wait. Thankfully it was lunchtime, now the Evans/Unsworth way of doing thing was make Sandwiches then buy fries to go with these, today was no different from last year, we headed to the showcase and got fries from the Mcdonalds- I am sure they asked if we wanted fries with our salt but it may have been my hearing.

We did the Mexico-Canada route picking up pics of Mulan, Genie and Belle on the way. It was a lovely day in the top 80's so wasa perfect start. In the UK we stopped to watch one of the shows they put on, rather funny and they used little Bobby in this trying to frighten him, they chose the wrong person. Bobby is a hell of a lad so much that one year he had a clown for his birthday, he was so memorable that this clown remembered him 2 years later at another person party name and all. We were all tired and left marking down that we needed to do Reflections another day, after all we had wishes in the MK the next day. Before we left we headed to the Living Seas where crush was open with everything else apart from the Nemo ride, we got a couple of pics here and headed home for a alcohol fueled recharge.

Sarah, Toria and Bobby trying the sombrero's. Note the blue lips, there will be more about this tomorrow. Lets just say avoid the powdered candy colours on sale in Disney!!

5 mins wait for Soarin' - You should have taken a photo of the waiting time 'cos you'll never see it that low again!

The 5 minutes was on the steep slope before you turn left to the loading area. So cool!

Excellent waiting time for Soarin. I agree with the kodak advert it is annoying and I dont think the show is worth it anymore. I much prefer Phillar Magic.

A great day at Epcot

Never done Soarin' yet - always a 60 minute or so wait when I have been at EPCOT.

I love Epcot :cloud9: great day and lovely pics :thumbsup2

Great day - can't wait to do Soarin, last time we went on this ride was in Disneyland in CA back in 2001 and I can still smell the oranges :teeth:
