Well, we're off in a week's time, Eurotunnel, then drive to DC!:) I figure that the drive is easy enough (but any advice gratefully received), just wondered how many toll booths are there on the way, and approx how much are they? (just wondering how much cash to have handy)

Cheers
Dave

hi ,we did this last march and found that the drive ws pretty straight forward,we used my tomtom with france map and the route it took us was fine,a bit hairy around paris so just be a bit more on your toes on that bit if you go the same way as us ,there was 2 toll sections ,1 where you just take a ticket and the next one wher you paid,i just put my debit card in as i ahd all the money ready(i can`t quite remember how much but the figure of 18 euros comes to mind)and then realised i was at the booth for cards which was actually easier !!
we found the route took us about 3 hrs and be warned -when you drive off the eurotunnel it takes you straight onto the motorway ,davy crockett was easy to find and the drive from ther to the parks was really quick ,
have a great time -as a useful online route we used viamichelin for looking up the route before ,i`m sure it tells you the toll prices on there

We've driven a number of times and found it fairly straight forward. Worth getting a Europe road map so that the passenger can keep you right :thumbsup2

Easy drive but you do need a good map. I navigate for DH & wouldn't be without my Michilin maps.

Service stations in France are much better than ours with much better food, so well worth a stop.

We stayed at the ranch for our 3rd time in 2005 so any questions ask away.
