What's the latest they normally release there direct train fairs I've been waiting ages for the 11th December to be available they have had upto 9th for a few weeks. I don't want to book Disney until I've booked transport.

Keep phoning Eurostar directly to check. The release them earlier by phone than they do online.

I think you'll be fine with availability for Eurostar, if you're ready to book when they're released.

Don't worry they release them in blocks, we had to wait ages for our return date to be released, they will phone you back when they are available.

The other thing to remember is that (unless you are booking late when it's really expensive) when it says "less than 10 seats available" it means seats at that price. I was tracking the prices before our dates became available and nearly had a melt down the first time I saw this message when the seats had only been out a day or two as we needed 5!:scared1:

Also have they reserved your outbound seats for you? Although this only lasts a week or so they will keeep renewing it for you. There's a good website which explains about the different carriages and tricks for booking - I don't know if I'm allowed to name it and I certainly don't know how to do a link!

please do name the site x

The site is called something like "the man in seat 61" a quick Google of that should find it. He tells you all sorts of things like the fact that there are 2 carriages (I think it's 5 &9) of standard seats that have power points (as well as those in whatever the posh seats are called now:confused3).

One thing we hadn't thought of but the girl we talked to suggested, was splitting ourselves across the tables of 4. There are 5 of us DH, me & DSx3 (11,14 &16) and we had presumed that if we were lucky enough to get a table we would have to put 4 of us on 1 table and the last person would have to sit on their own (we're used to that - when we went to dlp for the first time our 7 yr old had to sit by himself on the plane on his first flight!). The girl suggested 4 of us facing forward across the 2 tables of 4 and the last one by the window seat opposite us which suits my youngest fine as the strange child prefers travelling backwards:rotfl2: (Guess which child likes the high/fast/scary rides:rotfl:)

If you phone or call in in person, you can book your seats now. I book face to face living so near to the Terminal, and you can book upto 9 months in advance. I did enquire about December and the 16th was already up for booking. Get in quick to secure the best price, they go pretty quick for December and go up sharply if you miss the bargain seats :)
