Anyone know when tickets will be released for January?

i waited ages for cheap tickets for 1st week of december as the people on the ticket office couldnt give me a date for the cheaper ticket release. one said march, one said easter, one said august, and in the end i gave up and ended up paying what i thought was a ridiculous price of £500 return for 2 adults and 2 children. with it being the christmas period i thought the trains would fill up quick, so i booked my seats early and made sure we were sitting together. i wasnt happy at the £500 price mind!
All our previous journeys have cost us in the region of £275.

Ive just priced up my journey today and the price now is an eye watering £742!
