how far in advance can you book eurostar tickets?
am i likely to be able to get the £69 returns for beginning of Jan?

aaaaahhh seriously trying to afford it atm but trying to work out the cheapest way is driving me crazy!!!!

TIA xxx

Tickets for the direct are released in batches several months in advance and you have a pretty good chance of getting the cheapest price if you book as soon as the dates are released. This could be any day now for January so I would give Eurostar a call to see when they will be available. You will have even more chance if you can be flexible with your dates. There is also the option of taking the indirect train via Lille, tickets for which are released 3 months in advance.

I would expect the January tickets to be released in the next week or so. I've heard the seats are often released for phone bookings earlier than they are online. So it might be worth giving them a call to find out when that will be!

Anyone called for Jan Feb time yet for prices?? Would be interesting to see as think online it only goes up to the week of 6th December or something like that.

There is a long thread that I'm following on the Trip Advisor forum where there are lots of people ringing up daily to check to see if they've been released.

I think the general consensus is that they should be released around the end of August. I'm waiting to book for February, so hope that they are released soon! :)

Yes im also waiting to book for 3rd feb so hoping end of august will be released as would work well with my pay day! haha :rotfl:

I am waiting for April tickets - spoke to a guy at Eurostar who told me December !!

I then went on the Eurostar facebook page and they said the next batch of tickets would take them up to june/july 2014 and they expected them to be around the end of this month ??

My in-laws are paying for our Eurostar seats so obviously I don't want them to be paying through the nose because I have got the wrong information

I wait with baited breath now for their reply to my query on fb :surfweb::surfweb:

They are released earlier over the phone and face to face bookings - which is why most cheap seats are gone when you go to look online :-/
Good luck to all those booking for Feb half term :)

I only ever book over the phone as we got our seats for last December in june last year over the phone just confused over when they are going to be released

I just want them booked so I can tick another thing off my list sooo excited about this trip even though its ages away haha

We went this April and I remember the date for the direct train being in August because we were away and I missed it :-/ I ended up booking the eurostar to Paris in December instead so perhaps this is why you're getting mixed mesages. The direct train tickets are released a lot earlier than the indirect so I'd ring back and clarify that it's the Disney train you want.

i phoned eurostar and was told that the tickets for january at least were released on 15th August for the same period last year if you see what I mean so should be any day. Think I will try the phoning back each day thing though if people think they are released to phone bookings earlier

Same here I'm calling Eurostar daily as I'm after tickets for January 2014 as well, 5 Jan to DLP and 10th Jan return.

It all seems to be a bit hit and miss this year. Some times they release them to both the website and the call centre on the same day and at other times they release them a few days earlier to the call centre before they load them onto the web site.

I'm loathed to pay the prices DLP are asking for them and if you do buy them via DLP you have no idea where you will be sitting on the train or even if you will be sitting togther.

Exactly - I've known families to be split up! I like to choose my seat on the right hand side forward facing when going so I can see the park approaching ;) I sit on the right on the way back forward facing and look in the opposite direction when leaving as I hate saying goodbye!!

I know what you mean !

the guy I spoke to yesterday told me seats for april for the direct service were December but I remember booking more than 4 months early for my trip last year

Even the girl I spoke to last year to book mine said that they had had a lot of complaints from Disney customers who had paid mega bucks for their seats only to be separated and when we were at ashford there were a lot of disgruntled families trying to sort it out at customer services
I'm not sure why Disney don't just get the seats when you book ??

Oh well looks as if the Eurostar number will become a firm favourite on the landline over the next few weeks haha

so has anyone actually phoned eurostar about tickets for jan 2014 today? xx

Yes I called then this morning, and was told they are not available yet but they expect them to be released any day now so to keep calling back.

We were spilt up when we booked our first trip when we booked direct with DLP, so we always book with Eurostar now and we always book seats 45 and 46 in coach 5 on our way there and seats 43 and 44 for the return journey.

It really seems to be luck of the draw who you speak to and the information you get :(

on their facebook page they told one person that the next batch of dates released would go up to june 2014 but when I asked they said that the ones released at the end of this month would only go up to March and the next batch would be released in December

Just keep ringing I guess is the best way of doing it

They did recommend I sign up to their newsletter as well as that will tell me when seats are available but im not sure if this is over the phone or online ?
