Eurostar in January

Hi all

Looking to go to DLP at the beginning of January 2013 (6th-10th) and i just wondered if anyone had any idea when them dates and prices are likely to be released by Eurostar?

I have been told by one woman it was July and someone else said September

I don't want to book my hotel and then find there are engineering works or something for the dates i have booked.

have u asked Eurostar to email u when they become avaliable? I'm waiting for feb tickets and they took name etc and put me on advanced reservation list

I have but the way he explained it was that i would get an email to confirm i am waiting for dates and i would get a reference number.
Then when the dates and prices become available i will get another email telling me i can now book and to phone them up giving the reference i got in the first email.

I never received that first email Looks like i am going to have to ring them again.

It might be worth ringing them to ask i was told that they release certain dates up to 8 months in advance

i booked mine 3 weeks ago for the first week in December and if you ask they will put you on their mailing list so you will be one of the first to be notified

I'm still waiting for the 16th - 20th December to be released! they are late releasing them (something about the Olympics) 'sigh'! They are only selling upto 10th December at present. Oh and I was told around August time they would be released
However, I have been really really brave and booked the hotel on their 2night free deal fingers crossed Eurostar will be ok ???

i'm sure you will be fine

all i kept doing was ringing them on a weekly basis to make sure that the dates werent for sale

the day they were was the day before i got paid cue an excruciating 24 hours til i could get on the phone again !

they then couldnt confirm my booking as the screen locked but yet still took 3 payments

interestingly they told me my seats were on hold til the 28th november so not to worry

We will be there on those dates too, January 6-8. So I am waiting with you....

I am in the same position Poppie except i am looking to go a a few days later 13th -17th.

Just to let others know who are waiting i called Eurostar again today as i still had not received an email with my reference (turns out she didn't think it has been done properly as one minute she could see the details and the next they were gone )

Anyway she said they had confirmation this morning that the Disney train prices are likely to be released in August, which is quite late when you consider there are a few people waiting for December dates too.

I now have a new reference (although still no sign of the confimation email ) and hope to get either a phone call or an email sometime in August.

Interestingly though i did a dummy run on the Disney website and included transport, it was £398.00 for 2 people staying at the Cheyenne (no transport) for 4 nights and that rose to a whopping £809.00 if i included the Eurostar

I hope to god if i book now with Disney (which i am probably going to do) i don't get a phone call telling me the trainfare is a fortune in August.
