Hi everyone - just to let everyone know (hopefully you know already anyway!) that the direct disney eurostar is leaving 30 mins earlier than the time on your tickets. Mine was supposed to be leaving at 08:53 but will now be leaving at 08:35 (and is due to arrive on time).

This is all because of the fire in the tunnel, and according to eurostar will last until at least December. Your original tickets with the wrong departure time on will be honoured though! I would suggest everyone checks the eurostar website as they dont seem to be emailing customers to let them know this...

Sorry if this has already been posted!

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if this means our January times will be any different.....?

OK, so if i try and check my times it tells me theres NO train for my departure date!?!?!

is this just for the direct one or all of them? as I am getting off at Paris and going on the other train, as it saves me £140 !!!

Thanks a lot for this - I've just checked online for our travel date on the 4th January and that has been moved to the 8:35 time you described.

Excuse the bold for a second, but I want to highlight this part so people notice it:

I've just checked our return tickets and that time has also changed for us - the return train now leaves at 8:13pm, not 7:37pm as printed on the tickets, so both trains are subject to timetable changes

Please check your train times before you travel:

Our outbound train has changed by over an hour, as we were scheduled to be leaving St. Pancras at 09:53am, but now leave at 08:35am... We arrive Disney at 12:30pm, not 13:31pm as printed on our tickets, so we do gain an extra hour in the magic there :)

Our return journey now leaves Disney at 20:13pm, not 19:37pm as printed on the tickets (so about another 1/2 gained there). Finally, we now arrive back in London at 22:13pm, a whole hour later than the originally specified 21:12pm.

Do you think its just a computer problem with my train?

As it says they are daily....

It says mine are the same, for february, 9.53. Thats what it says on there website. :confused3

Thank you very much for letting us know. Our train on November 23rd is leaving 15 mins earlier from ashford and when we come back on the thurs its leaving 40 mins later, which mean extra time in disney.

thank you again
Lisa

Ahhh bother.... have just checked the website and ours has changed too. We're also going out at 8.35am (instead of 9.53am) -- I know we'll get there earlier but I didn't really mind 9.53 to be honest as it meant that we didn't have to leave the house till about 7.30. Now, we'll have to leave at 6.30 or just before.

But coming back would be a pain (8.13 pm) as it means that we'll be arriving back in London much later.

Thanks for letting us know though. I wouldn't even have thought to check the website for change of times.

My train still says not available, but so does the whole week...

Hopefully its a computer thing!

Thanks so much for posting this info. When I checked our trains back from London I found we had no train home. :scared1: I talked to a wonderful woman from Eurostar who said for either of our trips we could just get any train now, which will be handy if we get to the station early. I also go their insurance just in case things change again.

i just phoned to check about our trip in Dec and they have changed the timetable until 13th December when it will then be reviewed. i asked if they would be informing people about the earlier deaprture and she just said no! i said what about all the poeple that arent aware of the chnages, she just replied well thats life!!! i have to say i think this is awful customer service, all those people that have to get conecting trains when they get to london may now miss the last trains home etc... and she just wasnt particularly bothered! :confused3 i have to say we use Eurostar alot but am really let down by the lack of concern she showed. i am going to check a little nearer to departure in case anything chnages...

I totally agree!! I only checked because I wanted to see if the prices had gone up (I always do this - its such a bad habit!). I can see a lot of people missing their trains because of this

I agree!!! Complete and utter nonsense. We've had problems with Eurostar, not the train but the people there but sadly that is very convenient for us (we live in Highbury which is one stop to St. Pancras on the tube so very easy). The Eurostar people are so rude as if they couldn't care less...

I'll also be phoning closer to the time but for now the time is 8.35 or similar...
