Anyone with any experience taking the indirect train back from DLP to London, connecting in Lille?
We are taking the direct train out, but aren't able to take it on the way back, so am looking to take one of the indirect options instead. However, the one that suits us best in terms of timing only allows 34 minutes between arriving in Lille Europe station on the TGV and us departing on the Eurostar. Considering check-in for the Eurostar supposedly closes 30 minutes before departure, that is not just cutting it fine, that's almost a scalping!
My guess is that check-in does not close that early (otherwise why would Eurostar sell tickets with a connection so tight?), but I'd be happier to hear from someone who's been there, done that with a similar connection time, before we go ahead and book.
