EURO 2020(1) starts today at 2pm EST. The tournament will be broadcasted on ESPN, ESPN 2, ABC, and Univision stations. Check your local listings to see Europe’s biggest soccer tournament. You don’t need to be a soccer fan to enjoy it, similar to the Olympics. Give it a chance. If you are from outside of the USA what is the feeling about the tournament in your country? If you are American or Canadian, will you tune in at all for the tournament?

I'm not a big football fan, but there is always great excitement in Ireland for this competition when we qualify. Ireland is not in this years one, so I'm not really interested in watching the matches.

nope not a myth. I listen to a local Dublin talk radio show and todays big topic was about a billboard in Dublin for the Euro 2020. It was from a gambling company and asking people to support England. There was uproar and all the callers to the talk radio show said it was a disgrace and should be taken down. So the talk radio host contacted the gambling company to ask why would they put up a billboard in Dublin supporting the English team. The owner of the gambling company said its part of a charity fundraising campaign. They will donate €10,000 for every goal the English team score to a fund for Irish football clubs, to help them get back after Covid.

Today at 8:30am eastern on ESPN, Wales vs Switzerland. At 11:30am eastern on ESPN, Denmark vs Finland. At 3pm eastern on ABC, Belgium vs Russia.

A draw for Wales and Switzerland (I only care because the food delivery company is doing free delivery for days when Switzerland is playing - so I hope that they stay in for as long as possible).

They say here that he is not unconscious anymore. A correspondent in the stadium has seen a picture of Eriksson while he is carried off the field, with him holding up his hand.

They have shown the picture, he has his eyes open.
