ETWB a must for toddler boy?

I have a FP+ reservation for ETWB and I was wondering if this is a must for DS who will be 3 in December? I know it's an interactive attraction, but I really don't know much about it other than that it's really popular. Should I hang on to the FP or am I better of selecting something else?

If the answer to that question is no, my answer to you is no....it is not a must.

I can't see a toddler boy being that excited about it. My own DD (5 at the time and a big fan of Belle) wasn't that excited about it either. It's a nice idea and I credit Disney with trying to do something new but it's not that great if your child isn't chosen for one of the main roles.

I think it is pretty unique because they get to be part of the show. If he is the type that would like that then definitely make time for it. If he is shy or wouldn't leave his parents I would say skip it.

He's not as into Beauty and the Beast as he is with other Disney movies. Frozen is his favorite so we're doing pretty much everything Frozen related on our trip. I'll go ahead and skip ETWB and choose something else I know he'll love more. Thanks!

I don't know if it's a "must" but it's worth doing. My son was 6 & happened to get selected as beast & lists it as a favorite part of the trip ABOVE jedi training, which he'd looked forward to for months. 3yo nephew beamed through the whole thing and really enjoyed the lipstick print kiss he got when the participants get pictures with belle afterward. He kept referring to "his princess kisses" the rest of the trip.

I'm glad Disney is trying new things but it bothers me that some children get a very different experience with this attraction. I wonder if some parents throw a fit when their kids aren't selected for the better roles?
